About Presenter

John Snell began Risk Management Incorporated (RMI) in 1988 to provide specialized hedge services to corporate purchasing programs.  After growing up on the family farm in Decatur, IL, he graduated from the University of Illinois, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance, and received a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.  His career began as the grain and soybean analyst for Merrill Lynch where he worked with major corporations in hedging agricultural products.  After leaving Merrill Lynch, he worked independently as a broker and a consultant, and approximately 22 years ago began the company presently known as RMI.
