Agri-Trade Equipment Expo Welcomes the World to Alberta!

(Red Deer, Alberta –November 14, 2023) Agri-Trade Equipment Expo, presented by Farm Credit Canada, displays the latest equipment, showcases the most innovative technology and provides opportunities for farmers to be more efficient and profitable. This year Agri-Trade welcomed visitors and exhibitors from around the globe with representatives from Germany, USA, Mexico, Nigeria, India and Brazil.
“This year we were very pleased with the increased international interest in Canadian Manufactured Equipment, and in companies that are working towards developing a dealer network for products manufactured in other parts of the world”, stated Rod Bradshaw, Chairman of the Industry Advisory Committee. “It appears that companies across the globe are taking notice of the opportunities that the Canadian Equipment Marketplace has to offer," he continued.

(Red Deer, Alberta –September 25, 2023) The 39th Agri-Trade Equipment Expo is set to open at Westerner Park in Red Deer from November 8th to 10th, 2023. For three days explore the newest equipment, technology, and services in the agriculture industry –including the best in agricultural innovations.
Innovation serves as the life force propelling agriculture forward, enabling us to achieve greater efficiency while utilizing fewer resources. Agri-Trade provides a unique platform for agricultural producers to immerse themselves in this innovative landscape firsthand. Every year, companies are invited to submit their groundbreaking ideas and advancements to the Ag Innovations program.
In 2023, we are thrilled to celebrate the program's 15th anniversary, a testament to its enduring impact. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase these remarkable innovations, born from years of dedication and ingenuity. Among the countless entries, only the top five finalists have been selected, and they will vie for the prestigious $20,000 grand prize.
Using a perfect pitch style format, each finalist will be given five minutes to present to a panel of judges and attendees will also get a chance to vote for their favorite. "The Ag innovation committee continues to receive high quality applications during the selection process.”says Craig Shaw, Ag Innovations Committee Chair. “We continue to encourage new applicants to submit their innovations. Innovation is the corner stone of agriculture in western Canada and we want to bring that innovation to the attendees at AgriTrade.”

Agri-Trade Equipment Expo canceled for November 11th – 13th, 2020

(Red Deer, Alberta – September 24, 2020) Agri-Trade Equipment Expo announced today that they made the difficult decision to cancel their 2020 show that was to be held November 11 – 13 at Westerner Park. Although Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy guidelines do allow for trade shows to take place, considering all factors, Agri-Trade felt they had no choice but to cancel the show.
Agri-Trade worked closely with all stakeholders to come to this decision. They all worked together to do what they felt was best for their exhibitors during this pandemic. Corporate policies have introduced restricted travel that would impede both exhibitor participation and attendance for the event

Agri-Trade Equipment Expo returns November 11th – 13th, 2020

(Red Deer, Alberta – August 27, 2020) Since 1984 farmers and ranchers have attended Agri-Trade to see the newest equipment, technologies and the latest information they can use to boost productivity and profit for their operations. Under guidelines from Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy, Agri-Trade is pleased to announce the 2020 show will go on as scheduled at Westerner Park November 11th – 13th. Agri-Trade staff is working closely with a range of Alberta agencies and experts to ensure the show is conducted in a way that best mitigates risk and provides the safest possible environment for all attendees and exhibitors. As safety is the priority, additional precautions and procedures will be in place for this year’s show.

Traditionally the show has ran from Wednesday through Saturday of that week. Over the past two years show management conducted a written survey of all exhibitors and also conducted many one-on-one interviews with a good cross section of exhibitors as well as Sponsors and show attendees.
